Do you have proven expertise in organisational Greenhouse Gas accounting, with a strong understanding of standards such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064? Can you critically assess methodologies for accuracy, transparency, and alignment with best practice?
If you are a skilled analyst with experience in verification or methodological review, IMR – the secretariat and coordinator of CIRCULÉIRE – wants to hear from you.
IMR is requesting applications from a suitably qualified Independent Expert to verify the methodology used by CIRCULÉIRE to calculate GHG emissions hotspots for member organisations.
Project Aims and Background
CIRCULÉIRE’s GHG emissions hotspot analysis service helps members identify and prioritise the areas with the highest emissions, enabling targeted and impactful reduction actions. To ensure the robustness and credibility of this service, CIRCULÉIRE seeks an external expert to review, assess, and provide recommendations for enhancing the methodology.
This work will:
Confirm alignment with recognised GHG accounting standards.
Identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide recommendations for future methodological development and potential certification.
For more details about the scope of work and expected outputs, please read the full Call for Proposals document.
