About the event

The DCU Centre for Climate & Society is a new research centre focused on societal responses to the climate crisis. The inaugural one-day conference will feature a range of speakers from business, the media, policy-making, and academia.

President Michael D. Higgins will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural conference to be held on the DCU St Patrick’s campus.

The three conference panels will address:

  • How the media can respond to the climate challenge

  • Climate policy-making in a turbulent world

  • What corporate climate leadership looks like

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
